Short Story about Shri Vallabha went to the temple of Lord Badrinath

Once Shri Vallabha went to the temple of Lord Badrinath accompanying with Shri Vyaasji. It was Vaaman Dwaadashi (the day when Shri Krishna, appeared in the form of Vaaman - a child) Shri Vallabha was on fast that day. So His Holiness asked Krishnadaas to search for fruits. But Krishnadaas could not find anything at all. That time, Lord Badrinath asked Shri Vallabha to cook the food himself and later on after Shri Thakorji eats, he should have the prasadi too. Shri Vallabha thought that may be that is what Shri Thakorji has in the mind? Shri Thakorji, through Shri Vyaasji, also granted permission to Shri Vallabha saying,

"Utsavaante cha paarna."

Meaning that on the day of utsavas, one doesn't have to / need to fast. Then Shri Vallabha on permission of Shri Thakorji, cooked food, and gave to Shri Thakorji and had some himself too.

Summary: A question arises that, if Shri Vallabha wishes, why couldn't one find fruits? The answer to that is that Shri Vallabha never wanted to feed Shri Thakorji with fruits, he wanted to feed with lots of saamagris on such a beautiful occassionAnd His Holiness couldn't possibly break the fast just like that. So Shri Thakorji had to grant him the permission through Shri Vyaasji.
